Google Search Humiliation

Let Me Google That For You saves you the trouble of finding the solutions to other users’ problems and teaches them a valuable lesson.

A friend recently showed me Let Me Google That For You, a website that searches Google but does so in a mocking way. Let’s say a friend asks you about ‘the size of the code sector in the MBR‘ and you haven’t anything in particular memorized so the moment you receive the question you Google it, yes? And when you reply to your friend with your result of ‘446 bytes’ they’re like “zomg foh reel yer sau baws dood”. Was it that you really had that nonsense memorized? Not likely, you probably just had the intelligence to look it up for yourself. So you could have sent them the information you found and totally been baws or you could have given them the link of http://lmgtfy.com/?q=master+boot+record.

This saves you the trouble of finding the solutions to their problems and teaches them a valuable lesson.

Now that you know about LMGTFY, I’ve found a website that displays results users have used in LMGTFY in, mostly, real-time.
http://live.lmgtfy.com/ It’s rather self-explanatory but if you’re using NoScript be sure to allow/temp GoogleAPIs and lmgtfy.com. (I personally keep sites blocked unless I go to that site everyday and depend on its resources.)

I take no responsibility for content viewed or the humiliation ensued for use of these features.
